Meet the Owner
Jessie Scott
Jessie’s love for animals, especially dogs, began in her childhood in Orange, CA. She earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Management from Santiago Canyon College and gained experience working for a dog walking company before launching her own business, Walk’n Wag’n Pets, in May 2016. With invaluable support from close friends, her business has continued to grow steadily.
Jessie specializes in working with dogs facing behavioral challenges, using a balanced training approach that combines praise and correction tailored to each dog’s unique needs. She honed her skills through training with experienced dog trainers in Orange County, attending hands-on workshops, and completing various online courses to understand dog personalities and behavior more deeply.
Beyond her business, Jessie volunteers with dog rescue organizations such as Labradors and Friends Dog Rescue and Coastal German Shepherd Rescue. She contributes through training, dog walking, adoption events, fundraising, and photography for adoptable dogs. In her free time, Jessie enjoys hiking, swimming, and road trips with her two dogs, Echo and Tahoe, often traveling up to Truckee, CA.
