Walk'n Wag'n Pets  Company Policy

*Walk'n Wag'n Pets requires that all new potential clients schedule a meet and greet prior to scheduling services. Meet and greets are free of charge and are conducted simply to allow clients and sitter to go over contract and pets routine. Clients are billed (every week, 2 weeks, month) based upon the agreement of the pet owner and Walk'n Wag'n Pets. Any unpaid services, will result in legal actions at the expense of the pet owner.

*Scheduling Policy: any last minute add-ins (less than 24 hour notice) will result in a surcharge of $5.

*Cancellation Policy: If service is no longer needed, client must cancel 24 hours prior to the start of their visit time frame, in order for no charge to take place. Cancellations provided within less than 24 hour notice will be charged a $10 cancellation fee.

*At the time that service is booked, pet owner will notify Walk'n Wag'n Pets of everyone who has been granted access to the home during the service period. All other individuals that visit the home will leave a log of their visit. Walk'n Wag'n Pets is not responsible for any damage of theft conducted by said individuals.

*If you currently have foster pets, please notify Walk'n Wag'n Pets. We will consider caring for foster pets, under written agreement from the rescue permitting Walk'n Wag'n Pets to care for them. Along with the written agreement, rescue must provide emergency contact numbers and vet authorization papers in case of emergencies.

*Walk'n Wag'n Pets will not be responsible for the safety of any pets and will also not be liable for the death, injury, disappearance, or legal consequences of any pet with unsupervised access to the outdoors.

*Pet owner is responsible for pet-proofing the house and yard and securing all gates.

*Walk'n Wag'n Pets is authorized to seek any emergency veterinarian assistance needed during visits, at the cost of the clients from any veterinarian as chosen by the sitter.

*Pet owner is responsible for supplying all equipment and supplies for the pets while in the care of Walk'n Wag'n Pets. If there is a shortage, owner agrees to be responsible for the payment of such items, as well as service fees for obtaining items, and will reimburse Walk'n Wag'n Pets within 14 days.

*Walk'n Wag'n Pets services clients rain or shine. It is the owners responsibility to cancel any services. On rainy days, Walk'n Wag'n Pets still walks dogs in light drizzle, we ask if you do not want you dog out in the rain to let us know, and we will go out only for a short potty break and remain inside for playtime the remainder of the visit. If thunder and lightning are present, we will not walk the dogs out in this weather-NO EXCEPTIONS. If temperatures reach 85 degrees or higher, Walk'n Wag'n Pets will use their best judgement on whether or not to walk the dogs. We use the 5 second back hand rule. which states that if we are unable to hold the back of our hand on the ground for 5 seconds than the ground is too hot for the dogs paws-if this is the case, we will do a short potty break with playtime inside. If there is a greenbelt (grassy park or area) near by, we will conduct the walk there upon the grass--NO EXCEPTIONS.
